Solar Map USA
This is the solar energy map from the year 2008 for the continental United States and Hawaii.

Global Horizontal Irradiance in kWh per square meter
Scale: 1000 - 2450 kWh/m2
Solar Maps for Regions of Interest
Please join us for an educational tour of solar climates between the East and West Coast of North America. The regional maps highlight the solar climate in a particular region of interest. While the West Coast is generally sunnier than the East Coast, there is, however, more variation in the coastal climate on the Pacific side than there is on the Atlantic side. See for yourself how sunny the big metropolitan areas really are! And be ready for some surprises along the way.
The regional maps display the annual solar energy yield in kWh per sqaure meter. The spectrum ranges from 1100 kWh/m2 in the Seattle region to more than 2200 kWh/m2 for Hawaii.
Do you have a
personal region of interest? We offer individually prepared solar maps
in print quality for a region of your choice. Please feel free to
contact us for a quotation.
